The Studio
An architecture practice built around how you actually live.
A Charlotte studio with a simple aim — a casual elegance you feel the moment you walk in the door.
Sean Green Architecture is a custom residential practice led by Sean Green, a licensed North Carolina architect. From our studio on Hawthorne Lane in Charlotte, we design new custom homes, large-format additions, and focused renovations for clients across the Carolinas.
The work ranges widely — from city homes in Myers Park, Eastover, Dilworth, Plaza Midwood, Elizabeth, and Foxcroft to timber-and-stone cottages in the North Carolina mountains and modern houses on the water. Whatever the style, every brief begins the same way: with how you want to live. Each project is guided by what matters most to you, at the unhurried pace of living well.
How We Work
One architect, from first sketch to finished room.
You work directly with the architect at every stage — listening first, then designing around your site and routines and detailing the millwork and finishes by hand. It is a deliberately close way to work, and it is why the finished home feels considered down to the last room.
